Due to success and expansion, our client, an award winning and dynamic tour operator are now seeking an experienced French Speaking Regional Sales Manager to join its busy and friendly team. This is an essential role in leading the development of the sales and account management function. If you are a travel professional with B2B experience, looking for something a bit different, this is the role for you.
The successful manager will demonstrate an understanding and have a track record of success in an international and fast moving sales environment within the travel industry.
Each day will not be the same:
- Manage the relationship and cooperation with the current network of partners and clients in the designated territory, which includes some of the company’s biggest clients, to ensure not only a continued fruitful and profitable cooperation but also develop it further.
- Continuously work towards a pipeline of new partners and clients.
- Initiate, plan, develop and implement a strategy for achieving or exceeding sales, profit and minimum margin targets that are in-line with budgetary forecasts.
- Develop and maintain plans for existing partners and clients including for example to thorough account evaluation identify growth opportunities with each customer and drive new revenue and profit streams.
- Represent the client at various industry events.
- Conduct business trips on regular basis in the designated territory.
Essential Requirements :
- Similar experience within the travel industry is
- University level education or similar.
- Fluent in both English and French.
- Certain technical understanding.
- Good level of skills in Excel and CRM (ideally SalesForce).
- Approximately 5 – 10 years of progressively broadening assignments in sales development, preferably in an international environment with a demonstrated track record of success within the travel industry.
- Experience of working with large clients and not intimidated by ‘big numbers’.
- Solid networking and relationship building experience.
- Demonstrate a natural ability for turning opportunities into tangible business.
