We are seeking an experienced Strategic Development Travel Account Manager to join a highly successful travel company, hybrid working model based in London.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for a travel professional with experience in negotiations, sales, contracts, supplier marketing programs, travel advisors support, distribution channel management and building relationships.
Strategic Development Travel Account Manager Duties:
- Actively provide business planning and growth development to independent advisors through business portfolio consultation and reviews, preferred supplier usage, marketing investments and other proprietary programs and products.
- Manage and expand independent advisor relationships, continually researching and assessing business needs, participating in the development and communication of effective solutions.
- Coordinate analytical, strategic, and technical resources to deliver on internal and external client’s needs and expectations.
- Execute business strategies for department and build synergies, process improvements with key stakeholders and / or identified internal departments.
- Deliver against a set scope of work that includes strategic development, results reporting, creative development, and database management.
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to support initiatives & goals that benefit the brands within the travel group.
Essential Requirements
- Experience within the travel industry (corporate or leisure travel) with experience in negotiations, sales, contracts, supplier marketing programs, travel advisors support, distribution channel management and building relationships
- Excellent Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) product skills
- Must have strong analytical and strategic skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Online Booking Tool, CRM, and Agency reporting experience
